Yesterday was a very busy day for scheduling parties for Santa. Everyone must have flipped their calendar and realized not much time until Santa arrives. It was a fun day which seemed to fly right by.
Most of the house is decorated...just the living room left. Elf Allison has been putting in many hours to get it looking good ! Stopping at garage sales this summer kind of put us over the top, but a good deal is hard to pass up !!
This Saturday we will get a fresh tree from a tree farm and then it will even smell like Christmas. I am hoping by cutting a fresh tree we will be able to enjoy it through New Years Eve without it drooping and dropping needles all over. I have a huge artificial tree, but no one wants to take the time to put it up. We used to use that one on the years we traveled to Florida after Christmas. However, with the economy, vacations are not going to be for quite some time.
Snow is in the forcast today, it will definitely brighten up the outside which seems so brown and dreary.
